The third edition of Boston FinTech Week took place last week, and the event keeps getting bigger and better. The FR was on hand to witness some great panel discussions and see some of the latest and greatest innovative fintech companies show off their wares.
All of the information presented was enlightened; a few panels that stuck with us included how to effectively scale blockchain to an enterprise-wide level, the role of humans vs. machines in adaptive markets, and what the future holds for community banks and credit unions in this digital age.
Your FR also produced a very enlightening panel on how early- and growth-stage fintechs can scale and grow while avoiding common missteps too many start-ups make. From building a network and strategic alliances, to advice regarding raising capital, sales, talent, marketing, financials, and M&A, this informative session was rife with valuable nuggets.
All in all, it was an enlightening three days of discussion of the present and future in financial services innovation.
