Revolut wants to build a crypto exchange
/Digital banking fintech Revolut is looking for a tech lead to build a crypto exchange, according to a recent job posting on LinkedIn.

The job posting for the crypto exchange tech lead says the London-based company is looking for a staff member who can “architect and build Revolut Crypto exchange.” Building a crypto exchange is Revolut’s latest foray into crypto-related products, as the company has allowed customers capabilities to buy and sell crypto for years. In October, the company allowed customers to trade as much as $200,000 in crypto a month commission-free. Revolut also demonstrated its support for the crypto industry by paying for a WeWork coworking space in Dallas with bitcoin. “Revolut is always looking to push the boundaries of innovation, be it in financial services or workplace experience. We’re excited to continue on our rapid growth trajectory with an innovative partner like WeWork that affords us the flexibility to pay using cryptocurrency – a technology whose future we vehemently believe in – as Revolut expands in the U.S. and around the world,” Rhebeckha D’Silva, Revolut’s global head of real estate, said in a statement. The company, which is valued at $33B, has 16 million customers.
