Switzerland Takes the Lead on Drone Traffic
Switzerland has been at the forefront of many great innovations in the world: the Swiss invented velcro, aluminum foil and absinthe, among other things. Now they’re looking to be a leader when it comes to controlling the air space used by drones. According to The Wall Street Journal, Swiss authorities are looking at ways to formally integrate drones into monitored air traffic control patterns, much like regular aircraft. As the skies become more clouded with drones, we think such a step is a good thing.
